On the land, sea, air and space man's desire for speed gets him caught up in the race. In the year 1902 Leon Serpollet from Nice, France set a pleasant record 75.06 mph on the land. In 1997 Andy Green in Black Rock Nevada set the new record at 763.03 mph. A little faster yes? In 1919 Casey Balown went 70.86 mph on the water, in 1978 Ken Warby better that at 317.60 mph setting a new world record with out sending him to his grave. In 1906 a French man went 25.65 mph in the air and in 1976 George Morgan did it at 2,193.16 officially although the Russians and American aerospace and scientists have done much faster than that. In 1977 w elaunched Voyager one, which travels at about 38,518 mph or about 1 million miles every 24 hours. The truth is these are all very fast in linear time and rates measured by TSD - Time, Speed and Distance, but the future holds unlimited travle in terms of time, speed and distance and we learn to travel without staying in a 4-demionsional plane. The future holds such wonderful records that will make all the known records of mankind seem like just a game. Which they are, but until then Tom Cruise was right in the Movie Top Gun, we have "the need, the need for speed" . Car Wash Guys can wash cars faster than just about anyone else on the plent, someday maybe we might give you a free demo and make you a believer. http://www.carwashguys.com
