Call centers and telemarketing firms are about to start the big lay offs, these are clean industries and many communities have invested in telecommunication lines and tax incentives to attract them and the fall-out starts now; http://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/stories/2003/07/28/daily12.html?f=et65 As Phase II of the Telemarketing Rule comes into play we will see an incredible job loss and lay off problem in the little towns of America. Those types of businesses are very important to such cities. You may recall our recent discussion on Akron OH and their economic development capacity and job related issues with manufacturing and clean industries. http://www.parthe.net/_cwg0703/00000024.htm . http://dayton.bizjournals.com/dayton/stories/2003/05/26/daily29.html ---------- You may as well take these numbers and multiply it times thousands of lost jobs. http://www2.state.id.us/dfm/ief/2001/apr01/idah0104.pdf . If you have lost your job you maybe able to buy one of our franchises in some states. Provided they are not hostile to the franchising industry too. If they are we will not provide you with a job if you are laid off from the telemarketing industry. http://www.DetailGuys.com
