Let’s Discuss a different type of terrorist, shall we. There are several Biological issues, which confront us. Many of us are not aware of Chronic Waste Disease. This is an issue which really concerns the cattle ranchers. Deer often carry this and it can transfer species, it is as alarming as Mad Cow Disease. Chronic Waste disease has turned up in South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Montana. It is very serious. CWD is a scary thing because it can affect our Beef food supply. I did personally talk to one rancher south of Bismarck, North Dakota who did not want to take any chances at all. We talked about terrorism, we talked about water supply, hell we talked about all the old missile silos and the cold war, nothing bothered this guy, but on the subject of Chronic Waste Disease he said it was a concern. What is chronic waste disease? It is a disease, actually a virus which is similar to the Human Feared human variant Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease, although it is not the same as Ebola which kills you faster it is a virus too and would appear to be similar in symptoms, hosted characteristics and effect and spreading across the immune system. If it gets into our cattle we are about as screwed as all of Europe during the slaughter of cows and livestock when they caught the mad cow disease and moved to stamp it out. By not feeding animals the remains of other animals within their genome type. The practice of chopping up parts of animals not used such as the heads and brains of the same species causes this. It would be similar to us eating dead aides victims all chopped up and mixed into our food. Even some of the African Cultures believe in eating the dead and this is another way Aides spreads to the entire village. Of course there are other ways to get mad cow disease from cow to cow, but in Europe this is what caused it rapid spreading originally. We have laws against such practices obviously in the US. But once one cow gets it, it can give it to the rest of the heard fairly easily, remember a cows has a double digestive system and eats its first time around processed food. So a whole heard could get it quite easily. It could be tracked in on cow pies debris on shoes, it only takes a little bit you see. Yes you cannot worry about everything. As you may not realize about 800 million pounds of animals ar fed to other animals every day. While this may be a good way to not waste any part of the animal, it can lead to the spread of disease especially if fed to the same species, which we know is a very bad idea. http://www.drday.com/madcow.htm . Generally delivered to us via the mosquitoes. A species which has been giving it to us since 6000 B.C. and was very prevalent around 2700 B.C. where there were writing of the virus causing many to die during one of the Earth’s many Solar Maximum cycles. This virus was not West Nile but what we know as malaria. Something we should be more concerned with than West Nile as the temperatures stay hot so does the proliferation of Mosquitoes. Here is some information on the little buggers. Should we poison all the mosquitoes? Probably not, they are in the food chain and they are eaten by bats, our friends. The bats do not want to eat poisoned mosquitoes, which are tasty. Will the bats get west Nile virus, yes they can, but bats like rats have excellent immune systems and can eat mesquites with West Nile and from what we can tell not have to worry about the disease. Unfortunately the bugs give the disease to birds, horses, cattle, etc all of which get to disease. West Nile virus is an SOB type virus. It generally kills horses and can kill people. We have a problem today because the hot weather expands the atmosphere and these little bugs and other insects can hitch a ride on the Jet Stream and fly high all the way across the ocean? Is it Global Warming, hmmm? Hard to say. After all it was a hell of a problem from what archeologists have found in the old Chinese writings of pre-2700 B.C. in that area of the world. Safe to say however these types of things will occur in greater frequency when temperatures are hotter during solar flares, space storms, El Nino years and of course Global Warming. However, no matter what you feel about global warming it beats the freeze out of global cooling. The most screwed up deal of West Nile Virus is certain mosquitoes hibernate and the damn virus can last within its hibernated host until Spring and go get more victims then. Great? Well such is life on Earth and probably Mars and other places, where we will find frozen species operating at the poles. If you just love these little bugs raise your hands. Ah no one, so should we kill them all? We can’t. Should we reduce them? Probably, but if it hurts the bats, it will piss off the bats, who are our friends and help our farmers eat the bugs so they can use less pesticides, which is preferable to our food supply, cost to farmer and the environment as the pesticides run off into creeks, lakes and rivers and then to the ocean. Many are concerned that Saddam the Evil Doer may bring over mosquitoes with malaria and deliver them to a dry an arid region of the US, and right now that would certainly be a lot of places. Then you can join the war on terrorism by joining your local mosquito abatement district and swatting the little bastards. What other biological evils lurk out there, the real terrorists? Speaking of which Saddam is more or less a gnat on your ass, would let a gat on your ass or a mosquitoes in your pants? I say certainly not. Do you stand for mosquitoes in your bed room at night. They have the weapon the stinger. Are you going to let the little fuckers wait and attack you by surprise while you sleep? 400,000 years of evolution ready to suck the blood out of you and leave a little bump and give you malaria or West Nile Virus? You do not have an answer, because there is only one answer. Fly Swatter please. Does anyone else see the correlation and why Saddam must be rid of, before he attacks us?
