Detail Guys can see your problems with and Concierge Service Companies. These companies have often called us to service these accounts. Normally we have flat turned them down due to our unhealthy experiences with Concierge Services in NJ, Philadelphia, Austin, Dallas, Denver and the Bay Area in CA. The 15% they were charging is typical from what we have seen. The problem is you lose some control over the customers, prices and time slots. Routes and scheduling works best when they have various levels of service programs and are billed monthly for auto detailing retail accounts. http://www.DetailGuys.com . Tight routes to stay within the specialized service zones. Although we have worked successfully with a few Concierge Services since then, this is what we have concluded early on. http://www.parthe.net/_cwg900/000001e2.htm . However when and if a Professional Detail Company http://www.MobileWorks.com can develop the right plan with a Concierge Service on their own terms you can make it work, but it is an Art and a Science and special adherence to details are key. Once a Mobile Detailing Company has this figured out, you still have to deal with the customer service. And remember the customer is King, they are who you have to please first. The Concierge Service needs to understand they come a distant second. We are currently working on this program: http://www.TeamBlue.com and hopefully we can begin a rollout by mid year 2004. I really would like to do this in Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, Tampa, Sacramento, Los Angeles and Baltimore. Need to test it and Atlanta could be a fun market to do this. Or perhaps Austin, but in the end we will have exploited many a DMA Metro for the betterment of those who must trade their money back for their time to enjoy the quality of life available to those who have strategically placed their families at the top of the food chain.
