POLICE seek clues in car-wash burglaries. The Bozeman Daily Chronicle - Bozeman, MT from people with information. The Main Street Car Wash was burglarized sometime last Sunday night. "The subject forced the door ... http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/articles/2004/03/06/news/03carbzbigs.txt . We have participated in that community for years. http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/articles/2002/08/11/news50498.txt and http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/articles/2002/05/18/news1672.txt and now that we think about it maybe we need to start a neighborhood mobile watch program there. http://www.lancewinslow.org/nmwp.shtml . I would say my programs work all right. For instance there were many CA fires this season all surrounding the city of Los Angeles. However there were no fires started in the area in which my Arson Watch Program was in place during that period, almost a complete ring except where the Neighborhood Arson Watch Program was in place? Why? Were wood-be arsonists afraid and knew of the program there or the visibility was too great and scared them off? http://www.lancewinslow.org/arsonwatch.pdf . It amazing to us that this plan was not in place during the Santa Ana wind season in CA because we alerted The Forest Service of this plan, but they did not implement it? Why? Because folks good ideas from good people do not make it into the system. This is because the government has turned off their ears to the constituency they swear to support, for instance government no longer accepts comments from email? Why, because of SPAM which they promised to take care of? So why is my box filled with some 900-1200 junk mails per day? Why can’t we get information into the system, WHY? A teacher listens to her pupils, A mentor listens to their Karate Kid, a mother listens to her off spring, A CEO listens to his middle managers, hopefully the customer and frontline employees. Yet when the leadership does not listen to the to the needs of the people, the people must take care of the problem themselves without the assistance of the leadership. I hereby blame the deaths and losses in property of the California Fires this last season on the lack of ability for the leadership to listen to the ideas, which we sent to them. With emails to prove it. It is not as if we did not know of fire season in CA or the Santa Ana winds or the arsonists which come out of the wood work. After all it happens about every decade and we even know that many of the arsonists are fire fighters or fire fighter related people. Now then often the leadership of this country turns a blind eye and deaf ear to the most obvious and simplest of input from the citizenry it has failed it’s duty. Just as any CEO fails his duty by not servicing the desires and needs of their customers. We hold CEOs accountable, but not the incompetence of government leadership, agency heads, case workers, at agencies at the city, county, state and Federal Level. With all this duplication in bureaucracy the blob is not functioning, embroiled in politics and cat fights with visions of granger and some kind of medieval power struggle of Machiavellian proportions? While the people are neglected and doomed to repeat the history of previous periods. I site this as a case study and example in the real world of the fallacy that some how somewhere, someone in government knows what they are doing, fore they do not. And if there was once one who did or someone some one who does, they have yet to speak up. Some would say, well yes we can see your frustration? To that comment my answer is … Bulloney? We have jobs leaving for foreign shores due to too burdensome business regulations, we have a drug problem with 25% of our population between the ages of 10-32 and no one can get the SPAM from wasting 30 minutes a day to the average small business person. All I see is promises. I see no action, only talk. There are people in this great nation who have answers, who have insight, who have knowledge, resources, strength of character, commitment and the will to get it done. But instead we attack them and turn our minds off to the runaway lawyers, anti-business regulation and turn on our TV sets to mind numbing peanut galleries of rambling socialist rhetoric inspired non-sense? We need tort reform, a seamless government and a society which can think; http://www.parthe.net/_cwg1003/00000012.htm a citizenry who understands the flow of civilization; http://www.parthe.net/_cwg1003/00000064.htm . We see the trial lawyers taking over and one even tried to run for President? Are you kidding me, is this the best our nation can do, put up a trail lawyer which comes in second place one of the largest political parties in our country? What? Why because he is good looking? Spare me, what are we saying here? Turn over our lives and freedoms to a bunch of lawyers? You cannot be serious can you? What happened to Tort Reform? And as far as the news all day about Martha Stewart? How can you obstruct justice if you are innocent of the crime you supposedly committed? Does this really make any sense? What kind of rational is that? Attack her because she is a billionaire? Because she creates and builds rather than sneakily conspires to destroy like her prosecutors, who bully their way around and use fear scare tactics to prove a point. Destroying perfectly good companies? What if Martha Stewart never produced anything? Never created a job? Never existed to the degree she did? What if…? What if more people like her didn’t exist or ever come to be? What if Microsoft was destroyed by the FTC, what if little start-ups in the garages across America never had a visionary with the personal inner vigor to go the distance and take a chance? HMMM? What if? I’ll tell you, we would not be in America. The United States economy is nearly 4 times the number two economy in the world? Why? Because we worked hard to create it and make it that way, because those that came before us had vision and substance. Believed in something, they were different and unique and they were individuals, what the heck are we doing people, look out side? If Martha Stewart is not above the law, then certainly the prosecutors who have never produced one thing for the common good, never created one job, never walked a mile in any entrepreneurs shoes are not above the law either. What is the net result of what was done there in that case? Hmmm? We destroyed an empire built on blood sweat and tears to help a few try to make a name for themselves and for some who had lost money in the stock market to feel better about their losses? Is that it? We are trying to feel good? Why not simply ask Martha Stewart to buy some Prozac for those who can’t cope? We call those who lost money in the stock market “investors?” Well some were, most were gamblers, thinking they deserve something for nothing day trading by day, contemplating window sky diving at night. Those who were long-term investors would be back up where they were today from the highs of the prior years. The over exuberance had to right side itself. We are living in a blame-less society now, where everything is everyone else’s fault except our own. Where we can run over to the teacher and tell on Johnny who will not share the plastic shovel in the sand box with us and send him to the corner and take away his rights to play, no matter that Johnny may have traded his sandwich and waited for fifteen minutes to use it in the first place? The system is broke, it is not working, many companies are chosing not to play, unions are mad making ultimatums, attorneys are lining up to sue after spending time in volunteer committees of various agencies of government to make the rules just right to improve their own self serving needs. Then the government by competitors of companies to serve their will. Or perhaps attorneys representing the most nuts groups of the Sierra Club who do not like a certain road, drilling rig, factory, development, water project, power station plan and decide to sue on behalf of an endangered species which is not even from that region? Gee who put it there in the first place? Then the same people complain about money flows and jobs off shore? What did you expect already? Why would anyone want to provide jobs in a place like sue happy California to provide jobs when workmen’s comp is 30% due to crooked attorneys? And the attorneys now can hide their locations, addresses, even use false names to protect themselves as part of a privacy thing fearing for retribution? Someone might shoot them. Gee, wonder why anyone would want to shoot a lawyer? Are we even serious, the entire system is utterly ridiculous, but alas the brain dead are so stressed out, so close looped, living in such a confined box, that they have not noticed that the heat had been turned up so high that no one noticed, except for those who have jumped out and they are on the kitchen counter top now yelling turn off the heat you are cooking them? What happened here? It is so obvious? Wake up people. This is not just a bad joke. It is time to fix it. We need responsible government, which serves our will, the will of the people in moderation with the needs for future periods. Not one, which promises us free stuff we cannot pay for. We do not need more rules and regulations, we need less burdensome regulation, if we want the jobs back. Well that's it for this week folks. Glad to get that out of the system. Surely mankind can do better than this. Yes, we live in the greatest country in the history of mankind, but quite frankly this is not good enough, YET. Care to opine? Lance@carwashguys.com
