A new Car Wash Franchise has started but the principals are hardly new to the Car Washing Industry. We are happy to see some competition in this industry (CYA: we also franchise in the car wash industry www.carwashguy.com). What took them so long? Read this article and see why this new market entrant has reason to boast: http://www.carwash.com/news.asp?N_ID=47039&mode=4 . There are other Car Wash Franchises also. For instance Bob's Car Wash which is listed in Bond's Franchise Guide which you can buy thru this site. Then there is NCW: http://www.moderncarcare.com/hotnews/25h10122333.html and you can also find Coin-Op Car Wash Franchises one based in IL and another in GA. Both seem to be quite good. What is great for Rapido Rabbit LLC is that their system is nearly turnkey as they say and previously the owners had done site selection analysis for over two decades. With hundreds of customers. Their system relies on very few employees, only four. One of the biggest hardships in car washing is the intensity of the labor requirement to get all those cars washed. Rapido Rabbit has it down to a science with modular building, site selection, financing and is ready to go. You might want to check this out in case you want to get in on ther ground floor of an exicting new franchise. (CYA-We do not endorse this company, we have no financial ties, we do not partner in anyway with them, we are actually competitors, but in our estimation this is a totally new franchise concept and is much different than other carwashes). We believe Rapido Rabbit is going to work well because if you look at the Car Washes in Michigan which use the principle of washing cars for three dollars and doing high volumes, they significantly change the dynamics of the market. Also similar carwashes built by legendary Mr. Hanna which appear throughout, Oregon and Washington state have significantly improved over the years and tend to beat most all competitors with very few failures. Also if you look at the car washes in the Las Vegas Market where Terrible's Herbst has put in automatic systems with C-Stores, Casinos and fuel stations, they have brought the prices down to $3.99 and control that market as well as in Laughlin NV south of Las Vegas. All in all we see a significant possibility of a strong run with Rapido and wish them success. Check them out if you are looking into an automotive franchise. Automotive franchises tend to track new car markets and we have seen sales of new cars well over the 15 million mark each year, which is considered Strong. The automotive franchises for Oil Changes, After Market Accessories, Car Washes all track these trends for about 3-4 years out. Any comments on the automotive sector of franchising email me. We have been watching, participating and researching for years. Automotive is strong because of the sector and also because most automotive are service related and those are amongst the top performers like restuarants, QSRs and professional service sectors.
