The Oil Change Business is using many different business structures to deliver services to folks, this is an article we read in the Arizona Republic Online News Alerts. It is a Non-Profit’s car shop aids families with low incomes and also employees low income folks while teaching a new trade a significant help to those of us who know how hard it is to find, keep and retain quality employees. http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/centralphoenix/articles/0121garage0121Z4.html . Here is the idea we have come up with to help the common good: TEAM YELLOW http://www.TeamYellow.com – “A COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT CONSORTIUM BENEFITING THE WORLD’S CHILDREN” ------ Organizations Served: Must be a bona fide 501(c)3 organization, religious organization, not-for-profit group, charitable or private foundation --- Objectives: To develop an on-going year round fundraising program for your organization utilizing an environmentally sensitive mobile vehicle and equipment washing platform. To provide jobs and employment skills training for your congregations, constituents, or employees. ---- Membership: First year dues $1500.00. Subsequent years dues $600.00. includes assistance with program establishment, development and maintenance, fact filled “How To Run A Successful Car Wash Fundraiser” booklets, toll-free help lines for general and specialized wash situations. --- What is Needed: Members of your organization that will manage and provide the people power for this program. Fully equipped mobile washing unit(s). (Funds designated for construction of these units can be contributed to your organization and honorary or memorial dedications can be affixed to the unit.) Training program. Marketing program. Vendors supplying the equipment, training and marketing services can be selected at the local, regional or national level. ----- Jobs Created: Team Leader(s), Team Members, Accounting/Bookkeeping Services. These can be paid or volunteer positions. These can be part time or full time positions depending upon the program developed for your organization. ------- Populous Served: Your constituents, congregations, employees and their families. Fundraising washing services can be provided on your premises on a regularly scheduled basis to allow people to plan their participation. Additional washing services can be provided at businesses owned or managed by your constituents and congregations to serve their needs while providing full time employment opportunities for your team members.
