Well ever since the days of Jiffy Lube's unbelievable expansion decades we have seen many Quick Lube Business Opportunity and Franchises pop-up across the US and throughout the world. Well shall we start in Alphabetical Order? First is America's Fast Lube which has done quite nicely for it's franchisees. The franchise fee is about average at $30,000 for their expertise. If you are already in business and wish to expand with their model the franchise fee is $15,000. Royalties are 2-4% You must be an acredited investor with a net worth of 1 million dollars plus. You will most likely need some $400,000 in liquid cash to go into this. There is four weeks training in OKC. They have several locations and are making a run at the market nationally now. They also are working in creating avenues for additional revenues in car washing and detailing. http://www.fastlanesofamerica.com Now you may notice that the web site is offline and perhaps the company is out of business. If you need a franchise car wash company coin-op go to: www.superwash.com or http://www.carwashguy.com . Detailing Shops go to: www.detailplus.com or http://www.detailguys.com . ------- Boegh Building Systems http://www.goboegh.com They Build the buildings and supply equipment. This is very impressive and if you are considering on getting into the business with fixed sites, instead of the wonderful mobile oil change business, we can recommend this one http://www.oilcahngeguys.com . Since they make money selling equipment and building buildings there are no franchise fees or royalties. You can use them with other franchises. ------------ Express Care Program is also interesting based out of Lexington Kentucky. Valvoline Express Car has an installed business team to help you get the volume up and build your customer base, knowing of course that you will sell more of their product by doing so. The Centers will use Eagle One Apperance Products, Pyroil Automotive Chemicals, Zerex Anti Freeze and Valvoline Motor Oils. They help with everything from store on-site consulting and marketing to sales training, promotional advise and products to morgage based financing, market research and buildings. Here is the Information and it does appear that the program is constantly in flux with new changes and modifications continually. See what they are offering today? http://www.valvoline.com/pages/valvoline_installers.asp Valvoline Instant Oil Change is a different deal which is a franchise, There is now a franchise fee of $30,000 and the average start up is about 150K not including real estate. Royalty is 6% which is on the high side. http://www.viofranchise.com or http://www.vioc.com . ---------------------------------- Castrol also has a sinificant plan which does not charge a franchise fee at all. Perhaps Valvoline does because it has associated itself with other franchise brands and must otherwise it tips the scale on the competition and will lose their assistance in requiring their franchisees from buying Valvoline Oil Products. http://www.castrolusa.com Based in Wayne NJ. ----------- Chevron Power "Builder Program" is of value, remember it is ChevronTexeco now. There are about 500 plus co-branded oil change facilities currently. Check out http://www.chevron-lubricants.com . Also realize the TexecoHavoline program still exists but is being combined now with the ChevronTexeco Power Builder Program, bith are very similar with a $500 free signage agreement and purchasing their refined oil. There are a variety of flexible financing programs to learn about and we would recommend most of them. ------------ Citgo Fast Lube Program, not a fancy name but a good program especially in those markets and states they dominate. http://www.citgo.com They will do site selection, financing, business tools, etc. ---------- Kendall MotorOils is also getting into the program and custom modifys each program with many features as far as advise marketing, signage and financing, they have training manuals and all kinds of great support by telephone. ----------------- Phillips66 pffers two branded Programs. Contact their main guy at john.brant@conocophillips.com and he also attends all the trade shows. Strong brand name recognition makes this program very equal to the others. Based in Houston, TX they have done a nice job on this program http://www.ConocoPhillips.com --------------- Kwik Kar located in Dallas TX has an excellent program, it is not a franchise, but set up nearly like one, look into their web site: http://www.Kwikind.com They can also help with financing, business plans, buildings, equipment, etc. No franchise fee, need about 1 million or less, no royalties -------------- Grease Monkey has a $28,000 franchise fee, with 5% royalties, http://www.GreaseMonkeyintl.com This is an excellent franchise and has a lot going for it as well as seasoned executives with great resumes and important degrees on those resumes.--------Perhpas these maybe out of your budget and you want to go mobile?
