So here you are gainfully unemployed and want to start your own business? Good Idea no doubt. And now you think you are ready and your friends say go for it and some are skeptical thinking out loud: "So you want to start your own business..." ---- Not too long ago, most of us were taught that to prosper we must study hard and get a good job. Well, there are some really good jobs out there. But, imagine being part of a group of entities that are truly the backbone of America. ---- In the US, small business employ 53 percent of the private nonfarm work force and contribute 47 percent of all sales. Small business also created 76 percent of new jobs. ---- Think you don't have a chance at starting your own business? Well, a whopping 60 percent of new business begin at home! About 21 million Americans are engaged in some entrepreneurial activity.
