BMW Extends Warranty on the M3 Engines-What does this mean for Oil Change Companies? Well, it affect all of us because it requires 10W-60 Synthetic Motor Oil. For more information go to http://www.BMWUSA.com ---- Roundel Magaine Feb. 2003 ----- The BMW inline six S4 333Hp. 3,200 cubic inches. With rev limiter, is now warranteed to 100,000 miles not 48,000. And six years not four. Problem being you have to take it to the dealer for oil changes and none of the oil change companies will carry that blend or spec. As manufacturers take away these automobiles from the industry we may see fewer types of cars able to be serviced. Although it also solves the problems of having to deal with air, oil and fuel filter inventory since those cars will not be coming in anytime soon.
