Well as many of you know we are attacking the AZ market which right now has over five of the fastest growing communities in the United States. But what else is going on there? Well it is the number one highest vechicle theft, proverty areas, water reclamation studies which are proving and even defying best guess scientific research regarding recharging underground acquifers with treated water. Tucson Demographics are extrememly interesting, not only from the ESRI software side, but in many other ways; ---- http://www.irr.com/marketinfo.cfm?marketid=26&officeID=45 ------ Water to us is a big issue as well as for the fixed site car washes in the region, a few of which we are extremely proud to say are amongst some of the finest in the nation: ---- http://www.carwashguy.com/032703.shtml ---- http://ag.arizona.edu/AZWATER/publications/sustainability/report_html/chap1_01.html ----- http://ag.arizona.edu/AZWATER/publications/sustainability/pdf/Chapter_1.pdf ----- http://www.cityoftucson.org/emdpdf/RNSPhase1ESA%20Exec%20Summary%20&%20Contents.pdf ----- http://www.pagnet.org/HostedSites/repp/background.html ----- Also realie that the valley is growing very fast as many new housing tracts although not as big as in PHX area suburbs is growing fast too. This means new money, construction jobs and general increase in economic flow. ------ http://www.sunshinehomesites.com/ ----- http://www.poisonedwells.com/hawkEye/view.htm ------ http://www.scottnet.com/sawara/1997V15N3Q3.htm ----- Are we impressed as we travel the nation when we come to Tucson. You bet we are. Very much so and have been doing research on the area for years now: ----- Debate over recharging the asquifer? ----- http://www.tucsonweekly.com/tw/07-02-98/feat.htm ------ Flood water issues not recharging running off; ---- http://ag.arizona.edu/AZWATER/publications/sustainability/pdf/Chapter_4.pdf ----- http://insidetucson.com/tucson/about.shtml ---- http://www.azstarnet.com/cap01/tuesday.html ---- http://www.azstarnet.com/cityvote/init.html ----- Are we Bullish on the area for now? http://www.futurewest.com/News/jobgrowth99.htm all great sources on the matter. ----- I guess more than most and certainly more than the Pygmy Owl, wild cats, etc. are at issue also: ----- http://wildcat.arizona.edu/papers/94/88/03_2_m.html ------- http://weeklywire.com/ww/07-02-97/tw_feat.html ---- There are so many great things going for the area it is really hard to say exactly where to start. It is cooler than Phx by 4-5 degrees on any given day that means something when PHX heat wave spikes go to 116 degrees. ------- http://www.desertusa.com/Cities/az/az_tucson.html ------ http://www.tucsonweekly.com/tw/04-18-96/curr2.htm ------- http://www.ersys.com/usa/04/0451600/growth.htm ------ http://www.tucsonrealestate.gw8.net/com.htm ------ http://www.commerce.state.az.us/doclib/COMMUNE/orovaly.pdf ------ http://www.ci.oro-valley.az.us/video/Default.htm ------- http://www.pagnet.org/Population/PopulationInfo.htm ------ http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/local/census/3_29_01census.html ------- http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/history_culture/3_28_01census.html ------ http://www.orovalley.org/townprofile.htm ----- Well if you have have read all this and driven every major street in the city and sat down at local coffee shops for hours talking to people about the city, politics, non-profits, United Nations, Military, Health Care, Indian Populations, Hispanic Influences, Drug situation, crime, University Quality, shopping and retail sales, chamber of commerce and active jewish community leaders, then you would agree that Tucson and it's suburbs for all they are worth is a fine place to do business and there is monay to be had for the right person who understands the diverse make-up which makes Tucson AZ like no onther city on Earth. To try to classify it or compare it to anyother city only gets you in trouble with the reality of the money flow, consumer desires and wants and way things work. It is a great market and if handled correctly is an instant winner in our opinion. Car Wash Guys, you betcha, see you there. http://www.DetailGuys.com And How about the Oil Change Guys, yes Sir, count us in. http://www.Oilchangeguys.com
